Image to Distribute Handmade Films

Image Entertainment Inc. will distribute titles from British studio Handmade Films, including “Time Bandits” and Oscar nominee “Mona Lisa.” Terms of the deal between Chatsworth-based Image and Handmade were not disclosed. The Handmade catalogue will be made available for the first time on Blu-ray disc and digital downloads, said Image Chairman and CEO Ted Green. Handmade Films was statted in 1978 by former Beatle George Harrison and producer Denis O’Brien.
