GES, an events and attraction design company in Glendale, will create a traveling “Game of Thrones” exhibit based on the cable television show. GES will work in collaboration with HBO Global Licensing to build the 10,000-square-foot interactive exhibit, which will feature weapons, armor, props, costumes and set decorations from the series. The exhibit’s first tour will begin in Europe in the fall, but GES did not announce any specific venues or dates. The Iron Throne Room will be the centerpiece of the exhibit, which is called Game of Thrones: The Touring Exhibition. “The innovative storytelling of ‘Game of Thrones’ has been a cultural touchpoint since its premiere,” Steve Moster, president of GES, said in a statement. “We are excited to bring this exhilarating world to life to fans around the globe.”
