Entertainment Firm Rebrands

GRB Entertainment has rebranded itself and has promoted several executives as part of the reorganization. The Sherman Oaks reality show producer has become GRB Studios to better reflect its newly expanded creative direction. Scot Cru has been promoted to president of the reorganized production company. He in turn promoted Karen Pinto to executive vice president of production and Megan Reeves to senior vice president of development. Cru had previously been the head of GRB’s international sales and distribution. Patrice Choghi has been named as the new president of the segment of the company. Chief Executive Gary Benz said he looked forward to working with Cru, Pinto, Reeves and Choghi in expanding the company’s reach both domestically and internationally. “Scot is a well-known and highly respected television executive. His enthusiasm for our company and the industry is contagious,” Benz said in a statement. GRB Studios’ programs air in more than 190 countries. It won an Emmy in 2009 for Outstanding Reality Program for the A&E show “Intervention.”
