Short-form video distributor Loop Media Inc. announced Tuesday a partnership with Pac-12 Networks to provide content to its platform. Financial terms of the deal between Loop Media in Glendale and the collegiate networks in San Francisco were not disclosed. The Pac-12 Networks will provide short-form sports videos, including game previews, highlights, recaps, postgame reports, interviews with student-athletes and more for all its universities’ sports teams that Loop Media will make available to restaurants, bars, casinos, cruise ships and other public venues. Loop Media Chief Executive Jon Niermann said the company was excited to offer content from some of the largest universities in its Western U.S. media markets. “We especially are excited for our current and future clients who have venues around these college cities to enhance their customer engagement with even more fitting content to supplement our music videos and viral videos,” Niermann said in a statement. Loop Media monetizes its video distribution service through subscriptions and advertising and has curated a library of 200,000 music videos plus film, television and game trailers. It is a subsidiary of Interlink Plus Inc. in Las Vegas.
