MGA Entertainment Inc. has named Mehran Ravanpay as executive vice president of global manufacturing and supply chain.
In that role, he will lead the Chatsworth-based toy maker’s implementation of continuous improvements and efficiencies, prepare it for future diversification of manufacturing and vendor relations and help drive further progress toward its sustainability goals.
Prior to joining MGA, Ravanpay was senior vice president and chief supply chain officer for RAB Lighting Inc. in New York. He also served as vice president, global supply chain logistics for Paris-based Schneider Electric and as head of consumer hardware supply chain for Google in Mountain View.
MGA founder and Chief Executive Isaac Larian said Ravanpay will bring a unique point of view to the company given his 30 years of global experience in the industrial and technology sectors and allow it to further improve its manufacturing and supply chain operations.
“As we continue our rapid growth, I am confident he will accelerate our focus on strengthening the people, facilities and operations processes to ensure we are ready for new brands and new business in the future,” Larian said in a statement.
“I am looking forward to working closely with Isaac and the leadership team to drive improvements and efficiencies to achieve best-in-class manufacturing and supply chain operations globally,” Ravanpay said.
