Biotech Firm to Move Operations to Camarillo

Biotech products manufacturer SaniSure Inc. has signed a lease in a Camarillo industrial building for nearly double the space it has in Oxnard and plans to move its operations in October, according to commercial real estate brokerage, CBRE Group Inc. The Los Angeles real estate firm said SaniSure has leased 32,000 square feet at 1230 Calle Suerte from property owner 1230 Calle Suerte. The business currently occupies 13,000 square feet in Oxnard, but is headquartered on Flynn Road in Camarillo. The Camarillo market is seeing a slight uptick in interest from biotech companies, CBRE said. “This building is a perfect fit for a company like SaniSure®,” said Jim Meaney, a broker with CBRE who represented the property owner. “Ventura County is a nice place to live but very difficult to build new product. The previous tenant rehabbed the property nicely and their tenancy has helped elevate it to one of the premier industrial buildings in Camarillo.” In addition to Meaney, CBRE’s, Paul Farry and Doug Shaw represented the property owners, while Grant Harris and John Ochoa of Lee & Associates-LA North/Ventura Inc. represented SaniSure, according to CBRE.
