Interlink Electronics Hires New CFO

Interlink Electronics Inc. has appointed Raymond Li as its chief financial officer, the company announced Tuesday. Li brings two decades of experience in operations, business development and budgeting to the Camarillo force sensor manufacturer. Li said he was thrilled to join a company with such an impressive track record of innovation and industry leadership, especially when it has ambitious future plans. “The team here has spent years laying the groundwork for global growth and acquisitions, and I am proud to help execute those plans,” Li said in a statement. Prior to joining Interlink, Li had been vice president of finance and operations for Ambrx Inc., a La Jolla biotech firm, and was chief financial officer of Zensun USA, the U.S. division of Chinese biopharmaceutical company Zensun. Interlink Chief Executive Steven Bronson said he was excited to welcome Li to the company at a pivotal moment. “In addition to his finance responsibilities, he will play a key role in supporting our larger global strategy, helping structure initiatives, collaborations, acquisitions and integrations,” Bronson said in a statement. Interlink has been without a full-time chief financial officer for almost two years after David Burnett stepped down from the position in August 2018. Bronson has been acting CFO since then. Shares of Interlink (LINK) closed Tuesday up 54 cents, or 13.5 percent, to $4.55 on the over-the-counter market.
