National stage and theatrical lighting services firm 4Wall Entertainment Lighting has acquired the assets of Entertainment Lighting Services in Sun Valley. Terms of the deal between 4Wall, in Las Vegas, and Entertainment Lighting Services were not disclosed. The acquisition was closed Nov. 3. Founded in 1991 by John Chuck, Entertainment Lighting Services, or ELS, sells and rents lighting and staging equipment used in film and television production, theater, red carpet media events, trade show exhibits and retail stores. It has more than 150 employees. “I believe integrating our operations will produce an industry leader with unmatched capabilities and service,” Chuck said in a prepared statement. 4Wall has offices in four states, including California, and the District of Columbia. The company rents lighting equipment in addition to designing, fabricating and installing lighting systems. 4Wall Chief Executive Kathy Torjman said ELS rental, sales and special events systems operations will be folded into 4Wall’s Los Angeles facility. “Integrating their team with the 4Wall brand will strengthen us and allow us to better serve the Los Angeles market,” she said in a prepared statement.
