Interlink Reports Rising Revenue, Income

Interlink Electronics Inc. increased revenue and earnings last year, the company announced Monday. The Westlake Village sensor manufacturer reported net income of $1.7 million (29 cents a share) for 2015, compared with $1.6 million (27 cents) in 2014. Revenue increased 2 percent to $10.5 million. Interlink Chief Executive Steven Bronson attributed the revenue growth to the company providing innovative and high-quality force-sensing technology to its diverse and expanding customer base. Interlink is investing in its research and development capabilities with a move to an expanded facility in Singapore. “We intend to leverage the dynamic technology environment and advanced engineering talent available in Singapore as our business grows,” Bronson said in a prepared statement. Shares rose 10 cents or 1.3 percent Monday to $8.10 on the over-the-counter market.
