Electronics systems and components manufacturer Interconnect Systems Inc. has been acquired by Molex LLC, the companies announced Friday. Terms of the deal between Interconnect, in Camarillo, and Molex, in Lisle, Ill., were not disclosed. Molex Senior Vice President Tim Ruff said the acquisition will allow Molex to offer a wider range of integrated products. The company makes electronic components for customers in a variety of industries, including aerospace and defense, automotive, medical and consumer electronics in locations throughout the world. Interconnect, founded in 1987, manufactures printed circuit boards used in the military, aerospace and telecom industries.
