Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc. has won a multi-year agreement with Science Applications International Corp. to support a recently awarded prime contract with the Defense Logistics Agency. Under the agreement, Valencia-based Wesco will provide chemicals, oils and lubricants. In addition to this latest subcontract agreement, Wesco supports a number of other SAIC programs, providing hardware for U.S. military end-users. “Wesco is uniquely positioned to provide chemical management services with the expertise, chemical distribution infrastructure and state-of-the-art chemical lifecycle management platform to help customers manage this complex portion of their supply chain,” Dave Castagnola, Wesco’s chief executive, said in a statement. Wesco shares closed Monday up 40 cents or 3.2 percent to $13.05 on the New York Stock Exchange.
