Palmdale Regional Medical Center will become an in-network hospital for patients covered under Kaiser Permanente when it opens later this year. Negotiations were completed between Universal Health Services and Kaiser to keep Lancaster Community Hospital as an in-network hospital and then transfer the agreement to the new medical center. “We are happy to have reached an agreement with Kaiser in order to continue to serve all Kaiser patients at our brand new facility,” said Bob Trautman, chief executive of both Lancaster Community and Palmdale Regional Medical Center.
