CSUN, Dignity Health Sign Partnership

California State University – Northridge and Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center have entered a health partnership, the school has announced. Under the agreement, the Northridge hospital will receive rights to use CSUN’s logos and will serve as sponsor of the official athletics website and the network. It will also be embedded in numerous outreach initiatives that promotes health and active lifestyles on campus. In addition, the hospital will receive opportunities to engage with students at the Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts, Student Recreation Center and the CSUN Alumni Association. CSUN will receive monetary benefits from Northridge Hospital, which will be distributed to various campus entities, including the athletics department. “Dignity Health’s founding mission includes our commitment to partner with others in the community to improve the quality of life, and we believe this aligns with that goal,” Saliba Salo, chief executive of Northridge Hospital, said in a statement. The partnership was coordinated by Learfield Communications, a Texas-based firm that holds multimedia rights for various collegiate athletics programs. The company facilitates corporate partnerships for academic institutions by leveraging its multimedia rights.
