Antelope Valley Hospital has named Ronald Bingham as its new chief operating officer, the Lancaster hospital announced Monday. He will begin in his new position immediately. Bingham has served as vice president in previous roles at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach as well as St. Vincent Medical Center and California Hospital Medical Center, both in Los Angeles. “We are thrilled to add to our executive team a person with Ron’s background, vast experience and strategic mindset,” Antelope Valley Hospital’s Chief Executive John Rossfeld said in a statement. “As Antelope Valley Hospital looks to enhance existing services while adding new ways to serve our growing community, Ron will be instrumental in helping us build the capabilities and partnerships we need in this very volatile health care environment.” Bingham is an employee of Irvine-based Alecto Healthcare Services, the health care management company contracted to run the hospital by Antelope Valley Healthcare District, the public entity that owns the hospital.
