Quanta Subsidiary Signs Tony Hawk Endorsement Deal

Medolife Rx Inc., a subsidiary of Quanta Inc. in Burbank, has reached a brand endorsement agreement with skateboarding icon Tony Hawk, the company said Thursday.Under the endorsement, Hawk will help promote Aelia, Medolife’s rebranded line of Cannabidiol (CBD) pain relief products. The products include muscle rubs and tinctures that were previously marketed under Quanta, as well as new products in stress relief, sun care and wound healing.Aelia products utilize a polarization technology that supercharges ingredients such as CBD and Vitamin C, allowing for increased absorption and effectiveness.Hawk, who is 53 years old and still skating, will act as a brand ambassador for the product relaunch.“Because I’m still so active, I’m constantly looking for the most effective products for muscle pain relief, bruising and post skate recovery. Aelia consistently works well for me, so it’s my first choice,” Hawk said in a statement.In a statement, Medolife Chief Executive Dr. Arthur Mikaelian praised Hawk’s involvement with the bioceutical company, saying: “We are both honored and humbled that Tony chose to support our products, and we look forward to a long and fruitful relationship.”Shares of Quanta (QNTA) rose slightly to close at 6 cents on Thursday.
