Woodbury Adds Three Board Members

Woodbury University has appointed three new members to its board of trustees, the Burbank institution announced Thursday. The new members include Microsoft Corp. executive Maria Alvarez, IR Architects principal Ignacio Rodriguez and interior designer and Thompson Collaborative principal Claire Thompson. “Maria, Ignacio and Claire are all longtime stalwarts of Woodbury, and their contributions to the university have already had a profound effect on our students,” said Woodbury Board Chair Greg Lippe in a statement. “Their involvement in the Woodbury community complements their professional accomplishments in their respective fields. Above all, our newest trustees embrace Woodbury’s commitment to providing an interactive learning environment that transforms students into innovative professionals. We welcome their service and we value their dedication to this institution.” Woodbury is a private, non-profit university that offers bachelor’s degrees in architecture, business, design and liberal arts as well as graduate degrees in business administration and architecture.
