B. Riley FBR Inc. has hired Richard NeJame as senior managing director of the firm’s corporate restructuring division, the company announced Tuesday. The investment bank, a subsidiary of B. Riley Financial Inc. in Woodland Hills, said NeJame will be based in the firm’s New York office. NeJame joins B. Riley from Oppenheimer & Co., where he served as managing director of restructuring and special situations advisory. He previously served as a managing director at Gleacher & Co. Earlier in his career, he was a founding member of Lazard’s restructuring group. “With a long track record of success advising clients on complex matters and recapitalization situations, Rich brings extensive experience in all aspects of restructuring and transaction advisory,” Perry Mandarino, B. Riley’s co-head of investment banking, said in a statement. Shares of B. Riley (RILY) closed Tuesday down 4 cents, or a fraction of a percent, to $21.43 on the Nasdaq.
