Wells Fargo Bank has announced leadership changes to the Los Angeles area’s newly integrated commercial banking division, including naming Stender Sweeney as division executive. Sweeney will oversee a team of 350 bankers serving commercial customers in the Los Angeles Coastal, Los Angeles Metro and Los Angeles Valley markets, as well as Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. Commercial banking includes business, middle market, government and institutional bankers in one streamlined team. The operation provides credit, treasury management, deposit and other products and services to businesses. The department covers a variety of industries: food, beverage and agribusiness; investor real estate; government, technology; defense and aerospace; and entertainment finance. Jake Ganajian will serve out of Woodland Hills as regional market executive for the San Fernando Valley, Ventura and Santa Barbara. Ganajian brings 18 years of experience to the position and will have Anthony Pena and Al Reano as part of his management team. James Opdyke and Angela Yim-Sullivan will take over as market executives for Los Angeles Coastal and Los Angeles Metro, respectively.
