Glendale-based California Credit Union has expanded into Orange County with a new branch in Santa Ana. Located at 1313 W. 17th St., the branch features both full-service financial specialists and interactive tablet stations. Chief Executive Steve O’Connell said establishing a footprint in Orange County will connect the company’s Los Angeles County and San Diego County service areas. “We now have a cohesive service network extending across the southland,” O’Connell said in a statement. “We’re excited to take this first step in growing our retail presence in Orange County.” The credit union, which manages about $3 billion in assets, now has 25 branches. In San Diego, it operates under its North Island Credit Union brand.
