Six Flags Announces New Event, Food Festival

Six Flags Magic Mountain has announced a new event as well as a food festival.

The after-hours haunt event, dubbed Scream Break, means later hours for the Santa Clarita theme park: it will be open until midnight on weekends between March 18 and April 16 for a new spring break event.

The food festival is a Tacos and Beer Fest.

Magic Mountain Park President Don McCoy said the two new events take thrills to the max with unique activities, including exclusive haunted attractions and specialty food items.

“We’re excited to bring Spring Break to life with the most coasters on the planet and so much more for families and thrill-seekers alike,” McCoy said in a statement.

Scream Break allows guests, for a separate admission price, to stay in the park until midnight Friday through Sunday, starting March 18. They will have unlimited access to roller coasters, including the new Wonder Woman Flight of Courage, Batman the Ride and Scream.

Live entertainment will be provided by DJs spinning in the DC Universe and Full Throttle Plaza areas.

The Tacos and Beer Fest provides food-lovers with an assortment of specialty tacos, exclusive desserts, and unique beverages, daily from March 9 through April 16.

With a Tacos and Beer Tasting Pass, one can indulge with up to six samples of tacos, desserts and specialty drinks. Alcohol, including craft beer, is not included with the pass.
