RentSpree Expands Reach with National Partnerships

Sherman Oaks-based rental management software provider RentSpree is taking on new national partnerships. The all-in-one platform with services such as tenant screening and rental payment organization will now work with multiple listing services in Idaho, Kansas, Idaho and South Carolina. Multiple listing services are databases established by real estate professionals and brokers to help clients sell or rent their properties.

RentSpree said its intention is to “simplify and automate” the process of listing, leasing and management. The new partnerships include multiple listing services Heartland, Intermountain and Resides Inc., as well as the Rhode Island Association of Realtors.

“Rentals are an extremely important segment for our members,” Intermountain Chief Executive Glenn Christoph said. “Over the past few years, everyone’s focus was almost exclusively on the for-sale market, but that is, simply put, a major opportunity missed. We need to make sure we provide an integrated system that effectively enables and supports our members across the entire real estate universe.”

RentSpree co-founder and Chief Executive Michael Lucarelli said that its technology’s development has been supported by the “vibrancy” of the growing rental market and the proliferation of online onboarding and lease signing. It said that it has served more than 1 million users in the U.S. and has partnered with more than 250 real estate associations, multiple listing services and brokerage firms.

RentSpree’s services will be fully integrated on all its new partners’ platforms and will help cut down transaction time and increase return profits, according to the company.

“(We can help with) anything from paying rent to touring spaces virtually,” Lucarelli said in a statement. “By collaborating with the organizations that support those who can service the rental segment, we can ensure that their members have easy access to the best tools in the market.”
