About 60 people attended the Gold Coast Executive Forum’s annual fall meeting Sept. 27 at the Malamut Auto Museum in Thousand Oaks.
The Gold Coast forum is a series of events to which C-level executives and business owners are invited. A tour of a local business is a staple of Gold Coast gatherings, and the autumn event was held in a warehouse that holds the private collection of Michael Malamut.
Malmut told the assembled executives that he began his career as an auto mechanic but transitioned into sales and business. Through the years he maintained a love of cars and collected many of them. His museum is not open to the public.
Gold Coast is co-produced by Brent Reinke of the Stradling law firm and the Business Journal.
