Technicolor Showcasing New Products at NAB2011

Technicolor will announce new partnerships and showcase new products at the National Association of Broadcasters Show 2011 in Las Vegas starting on April 11. The entertainment technology firm with facilities in Burbank and Glendale will demonstrate its Certifi3D quality analysis service for 3D films and launches SharVue to enhance the viewing of dailies content on desktop, laptop and mobile devices. Momentum Pictures used Certifi3D on its recently licensed film, “My Soul to Take,” to ensure it was of the highest quality 3D when delivered to various screen sizes. The company also previewed at NAB its MovieSlate app created in conjunction with PureBlend Software Design Group. The on-location production app facilitates digital production by aggregating relevant data on a unified platform. Lastly, Technicolor will announce partnerships with Canon USA to bring Technicolor’s color-science into creative tools used with the Canon EOS DSLR cameras; and with FilmLight on color grading applications for motion picture and broadcast production sets.
