The College of the Canyons i3 Advanced Technology Incubator (ATI) program has been selected as a network partner for the new Microsoft BizSpark Program. ATI, which is a component of the Small Business Development Center at the college, provides support services, such as business advisory, mentoring and networking assistance. The BizSpark Program gives startup companies access to Microsoft development tools, platform technologies, production licenses, training, technical support and marketing visibility during the companies’ first three years of existence. The BizSpark Program has no up-front costs and minimal enrollment requirements. Startups eligible for the Microsoft BizSpark Program are those actively engaged in developing a software-based product or service that is a core piece of their business model, have been in business less than three years at the time of enrollment and have less than $1 million in annual revenue.
