FCC Approves Broadband Connections for Transatlantic Flights

Row 44 Inc. will start providing in—flight broadband connections on transatlantic flights following approval by the Federal Communications Commission. The FCC license makes Westlake Village-based Row 44 the only provider to operate broadband connections for flight over the Atlantic Ocean. The company is expected to begin the transatlantic service this year. Row 44 operates in over 100 countries on four continents. In the U.S., the company provides broadband connections on Southwest Airlines flights. Mark R. Madler
