DC Entertainment will relocate its development and production of filmed entertainment, video games and consumer products to the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank from New York. The move will make it easier to bring the DC brand into feature films and through other distribution platforms, Warner Bros. executives said. The move is expected to be completed by the end of 2011. The DC Entertainment publishing business will remain in New York. “These organizational changes reinforce the strengths of DC’s greatest legacies – most importantly its people and its creative talent – and offer greater opportunity for maximum growth, success and efficiency in the future,” said DC Entertainment President Diane Nelson.
