Cherokee Inc. Gets New CFO

Cherokee Inc. has plans to bring in a new chief financial officer, the Van Nuys-based brand management company and licensor announced. Mark DiSiena will begin his new role on Dec. 17. DiSiena was most recently a strategy and finance consultant. He previously served as chief financial officer of 4Medica, a privately-held software company, and held key management roles at KineticTide, which he co-founded, and Lucent Technologies. He started his career as an auditor at public accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand. “Mark’s extensive background in accounting, taxation, securities and law will fit in well with our growth strategies as we look to build on our existing brand portfolio, further expand our global reach and as we add new and exciting brands for our existing and future retailer partners,” said Cherokee Inc.
