Teleflex Inc. completed the sale of its aircraft component business based in Simi Valley, a deal valued at $94 million. The actuator business of Telair International Inc., a subsidiary of Teleflex, was purchased by TransDigm Group Inc., an aerospace supplier with facilities throughout the U.S. including Northridge. Teleflex sold the actuator business so that it could focus more on its medical technology business, company officials said. For the 12-month period ending Sept. 26, 2010 the actuator business brought in $24 million in revenues for Teleflex. It supplied products for the Boeing 737, 747, 767 and 777 and F-16 and C-130.
