Aerospace Acquisition Completed

Aircraft component manufacturer TransDigm Group has completed its acquisition of Semco Instruments, based in Valencia. The deal between Semco and TransDigm, with headquarters in Cleveland, was worth $74 million in cash. Semco makes parts used in helicopters, business jets and selected regional airplanes. Semco had revenues of $38 million in 2009, according to TransDigm. Mark R. Madler
