The Van Nuys Airport Citizens Advisory Council recommended approval for a toddler and infant product manufacturer to sublease space from aluminum wheel maker Superior Industries International Inc. Munchkin Inc. will occupy the former manufacturing space vacated by Superior a year ago and use it for warehousing and distribution. The sublease between Munchkin, based in North Hills, and Superior would run 10 years with an option to extend another six years. Superior has a 50-year lease with Los Angeles World Airports for the property on Woodley Avenue across the street from the airport proper. The company will continue to keep its headquarters in the building. The sublease still needs approval by the Board of Airport Commissioners. Mark R. Madler
