Salem Media Group has named Jeff Reisman an operational vice president in Salem’s Radio Division effective July 1. The Camarillo broadcaster and publisher of Christian and conservative content said that is his new position, Reisman will supervise Salem stations in Boston, Philadelphia and Chicago. Currently he serves as general manager for the Chicago group of two Salem stations. Reisman joined Salem in 2004 as general sales manager in Chicago and became the top executive in the market in 2010. Prior to joining Salem he worked at CBS Radio, Bonneville International (now Hubbard) and Pioneer Press Newspapers. “For more than a dozen years, Jeff Reisman has proven himself as a problem-solving leader,” Allen Power, senior vice president of Salem’s Radio Division, said in a statement. “We’re excited to have him expand his leadership to Boston and .” The company made the announcement after market close Monday. Salem (SALM) shares closed down 40 cents, or 4.9 percent, to $7.75 on the Nasdaq.
