Adams was an animator on “Star Trek: Voyager” and “Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog.” Larry Gerber has been named to the new post of director of news and information for the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in North Hollywood. He will be in charge of all editorial and information services and will oversee Emmy magazine and Emmy Online. Gerber was previously assistant bureau chief for news at Associated Press in Los Angeles. Rochelle Gerson has been promoted to senior vice president of business affairs for Carsey Werner Co. in Studio City. She is responsible for negotiating and administering development agreements. Gerson has been vice president of business affairs since 1995. Kenton Low has been appointed senior vice president of corporate marketing for Universal Studios in Universal City. He will focus on developing and executing strategic marketing programs as well as overseeing online operations. Low was most recently vice president of synergy at Buena Vista Internet Group. William Patrizio has been named senior vice president of strategic sourcing for Walt Disney Co. in Burbank. He will focus on improving productivity and generating efficiencies using technology. Patrizio was previously senior vice president and general manager of Chromium Graphics Inc. in San Diego Four executives have been named to new posts at the Walt Disney Co. in Burbank. Etienne de Villiers has been appointed president and managing director of Walt Disney International Europe. He has been president of Walt Disney Television International since 1994. Michael Johnson was named president and managing director of Walt Disney International Asia. He was most recently president of Disney’s Buena Vista Home Entertainment. Diego Lerner was named president and managing director of Walt Disney International Latin America. He was previously executive vice president for Buena Vista International and Buena Vista Home Entertainment, Latin America. Paul Saleh was appointed senior vice president and chief financial officer of Walt Disney International. He has been executive vice president and treasurer of Walt Disney Co. since 1997. Personnel Tania Hablian has joined OfficeTeam in Glendale as a staffing manager. She will be responsible for the recruitment and placement of job candidates, and handling client accounts. Hablian was previously an account executive for P.I.L. in the San Fernando Valley. Real Estate Paul Kitzinger has been named director of investment services for American Realty Advisors in Glendale. He will be responsible for new business development, consultant relations, and client services. Kitzinger was previously vice president of investment management with Hart Advisors. Irwin Rosenstein has joined ARCS Commercial Mortgage Co. in Calabasas as legal counsel. He will handle loan closings and serve as an advisor on other legal and investor issues. Levine was with Fannie Mae for 13 years. Retail Linda LoRe has been named president and chief executive officer of Frederick’s of Hollywood. She will lead the catalog and retail business, and focus on building international operations and expansion into e-commerce. LoRe was most recently president and chief executive officer of Giorgio Beverly Hills.
