PALMDALE – A state plan to build a freeway linking Interstate 15 and the Antelope Valley Freeway had its first public airing Tuesday, as Antelope Valley residents weighed in on the proposed roadway’s possible environmental and economic impacts. Tuesday’s meeting, organized by Caltrans officials, was the first step in a process that will likely take the better part of a decade – if it proceeds at all – before a highway would be complete.
