California Resources Corp. has appointed Chris Gould as the company’s first chief sustainability officer. The Santa Clarita-based oil company’s new officer previously worked at electricity utility holding company Exelon, serving as senior vice president of corporate strategy and chief innovation and sustainability officer. “Bringing Chris on board reflects the importance of our ESG (environmental, social and governance) initiatives and our commitment to decarbonization and a realistic energy transition,” Mac McFarland, chief executive of CRC, said in a statement. … Capstone Green Energy Corp. has promoted Jeff Foster to senior vice president of corporate development. Foster will lead the Van Nuys clean energy manufacturer’s evaluations of acquisitions, joint ventures and other strategic transactions. Additionally, the company has recruited Nick McGrath to be director of business development for Europe. To fill Foster’s previous roles, Capstone promoted Don Ayers to vice president of technology and Tracy Chidbachian to director of customer service. … Marcus & Millichap Inc. has named Richard Matricaria chief operating officer for the western division. He joined the real estate brokerage in 2000, first as a broker, and later opened offices in Florida and Illinois. He relocated to the Calabasas headquarters in 2019. In tandem with his promotion, J.D. Parker has become chief operating officer of the eastern division in New York. … Sue-Jean Lin has joined the board of Arcutis Biotherapeutics Inc. in Westlake Village, replacing attorney Jonathan Silverstein, who stepped down for personal reasons. Lin is chief information officer at Alcon, a public eye care company. … Tom Donnelly, president of Brightview Landscape Development in Calabasas, has joined the Construction Industry Round Table, a national trade association comprised of about 120 chief executives from design and construction companies. “CIRT is fortunate to have a dedicated board of such highly regarded industry professionals,” organization President Mark Casso said in a statement. … WindSim Power Inc., a Westlake Village company that makes software for power utility operators, has named Donne Rennemo as chief executive. “The board of directors of parent WindSim AS aims to tap her extensive, proven experience to initiate and drive the market deployment of the recently launched WindSim Power Line Dynamic Line Rating software solution,” the company said in a statement.
