Tutor Perini Wins $47 Million Navy Contract

 Tutor Perini Corp. announced this week that it had received a $47 million task order to design and build a facility for the U.S. Navy on the island of Guam.The Sylmar construction company said the contract for its joint venture with Black Construction, a subsidiary of Tutor Perini based on the Pacific island, is expected to be completed in December 2022.The scope of the project includes design and construction of a consolidated explosive ordnance disposal compound facility, maintenance facility, armory, multipurpose/training facility and other additional structures, the company said.The company announced the contract on Wednesday. Shares of Tutor Perini (TPC) closed up on Friday by 8 cents, or less than 1 percent, to $11.30 on the New York Stock Exchange.
