A new medical clinic opened on the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital campus in Valencia earlier this week, the hospital said in a statement. The Henry Mayo Newhall Center for Hand and Reconstructive Surgery, located in suite 220 of the hospital’s outpatient surgery building, is headed by Dr. Mort Rizvi. Rizvi is fellowship-trained in hand surgery, plastic and recovery surgery, as well as craniofacial pediatric plastic surgery. “I’m looking forward to practicing in this new clinic and serving the patients of the Santa Clarita Valley,” Rizvi said in a statement. “In today’s world, hand and repetitive motion injuries are more and more common. Treating those injuries appropriately and effectively can be critical to quality of life.” The outpatient surgery building is at 25751 McBean Parkway.
