uWink Completes Tech Spin-off

uWink Inc. completed the spin-off its technology licensing business, which has been named Tapcode Holdings Inc. Van Nuys-based Tapcode will license software for interactive kiosk or tabletop touchscreens used in a hospitality environment. uWink uses the software at its interactive restaurants and it has also been used at a senior living complex in Lancaster. The spinoff transaction gives uWink shareholders one share of Tapcode stock for each share of uWink stock owned as of Feb. 13.
