After many quarters of dramatic income increases Cherokee Inc. today reported its net earnings for the quarter ended Oct. 29 were flat against the prior period last year on a 5 percent increase in revenues. Cherokee, which licenses and markets brands including Sideout and Carol Little, reported earnings of $3.3 million or $0.37 per share for the period, compared to net income of $3.3 million or $0.38 per share in the year ago period. Revenues for the quarter were $8.4 million, compared to revenues of $8.0 million in the same period last year. Shares in the Van Nuys-based company fell by $1.13 to $36 in afternoon trading.
