Westlake to start messaging system

Westlake Village officials say they are getting close to launching the city’s new emergency mass-notification system, with the rollout expected in the next 30 days. Agoura Hills officials also are considering the same type of system, called Connect-CTY, to quickly alert the public by phone, e-mails, text messages and other methods in an emergency.
