He will obtain loan and equity capital, interface in the recruitment of staff and coordinate operations development. Science and Technology Michael A. Giardello has been named executive vice president and chief technical officer at Pasadena-based Advanced Sports Materials. Giardello previously founded Giardello & Assoc., a technology development consulting corporation. Advanced Sports Materials is a materials science and technology company. Financial Services Mari M. Musilli has been named general manager of Pasadena-based Golden Pacific Insurance Services. She will be responsible for running all operations of the office. Musilli comes to Golden Pacific with over 30 years of brokerage and management experience. Manufacturing Philip M. Neal has been elected president and chief executive officer by the board of directors of Pasadena-based Avery Dennison Corp. Neal is currently president and chief operating officer.
