Fuse Renews Lease for Glendale Headquarters

Media company Fuse has renewed its lease for its Glendale headquarters and signed a lease for a new, larger Manhattan location, according to the L.A. office of real estate firm Avison Young (Canada) Inc. The multi-platform business has renewed the 20,00-square-foot lease at 700 N. Central Ave. where it has been located since 2009. Fuse plans to renovate the space into a creative office layout for its 75 employees, Avison said. Under the terms of the renewed lease, Fuse will receive a tenant improvement allowance toward the renovation, and a sign atop the building with Fuse’s name, according to Avison. In New York City, Fuse signed a new, 26,776-square-foot lease at One Penn Plaza. The space is undergoing renovations into a creative office layout for Fuse’s 125 employees there and is larger than Fuse’s current 25,000 square feet at 11 Penn Plaza. The new office will include sound and editing capabilities, Avison said. Jacob Bobek, a principal with Avison, represented Fuse. In Glendale, L.A.’s CBRE Group Inc. handles leasing for the building’s owner, Blackstone Group LP, according to CoStar Group Inc. “These new leases will provide Fuse media with newly renovated, creative and collaborative space that complements its brand identity and solidifies its long-term commitment in the New York City and Los Angeles markets,” Bobek said in a statement.
