On Feb. 15, the city of Santa Clarita held a ceremony to name the new Cheri Fleming Auto Center Drive near Magic Mountain Parkway. The street commemorates the late Cheri Fleming, who together with her husband Don Fleming bought the Valencia Acura dealership. She also served as a philanthropist in the Santa Clarita Valley. Gonzalez will oversee the Van Nuys helicopter company’s operations while spearheading growth through the Helinet Technologies division, which supports law enforcement, public safety and government agencies. Gonzalez is a licensed helicopter pilot with more than 7,000 flight hours. … Employment and labor law firm Roxborough Pomerance Nye & Adreani in Woodland Hills has hired Jennifer Maguire for their litigation team. Maguire previously served six years active duty in the Judge Advocate General’s Corp of the U.S. Navy. … Agoura Hills-based National Veterinary Associates, a support company for animal hospitals and clinics, has appointed Tami Majer as chief people officer. She will lead the company’s efforts to attract the best veterinarians, pet care professionals and business leaders while furthering NVA’s investment in people, teams and culture.
