Kingsbarn to Seek Solid Investments

“They made me offer I could not refuse,” Danny Held said of his new role as vice president for the San Fernando Valley and North Los Angeles regions at Kingsbarn Real Estate Capital.

Kingsbarn, based in Las Vegas, owns capital funds and focuses on buying commercial real estate to provide structured investments to high-net-worth individuals, family trusts, foundations and institutional investors.

Held likened his recent career move, or merger with Kingsbarn, to a good marriage or partnership. Held’s new position provides him with ample capital and opportunities to engage in a large volume of high-grade investment real estate transactions.

“We buy real estate all over the country. We purchased real estate in 36 different states over the last 11 years. We buy eight to 10 new properties every quarter and these are $20 million to $60 million properties,” Held said.

For customers, Kingsbarn provides avenues for investors who are limited to investing in the $2 million to $3 million range to invest in properties valued at $50 million to $60 million, according to Held. The company ensures investments are in stable, high-grade assets.

Held also aims to minimize risk and taxes for his clients. As an example, he pointed to Phoenix Building at 6842 Van Nuys Blvd. in Van Nuys. The 100,000-square-foot property houses CHAMPS Charter High School of the Arts and currently has 18 years remaining on its lease, providing secure long-term income.

Heldstarted his professional brokerage career at Sands Investment Group, where he represented private investors, REITs, and institutions in the disposition of their assets.
