NetSol Technologies Inc. secured late last month a multi-million dollar renewal of a contract with a large Japanese automotive customer in Thailand.Under the terms of the agreement announced on April 27, the customer, who was not named, will continue to license components of the Calabasas software developer’s NFS retail platform, including its credit application processing system and contract management system.
NetSol supplies its software to the vehicle and equipment financing and leasing markets.NetSol President Naeem Ghauri said that the renewal solidifies the company’s standing in Thailand and across the Asian Pacific region as the preferred business partner for auto finance and leasing companies.
“This customer has been a market leader in the financing and leasing of commercial vehicles and pickup trucks in Thailand for some time, and we’re looking forward to building our already-strong working relationship for years to come,” Ghauri said in a statement.
