Logix Federal Credit Union will sponsor a drive-in movie series in Santa Clarita, set to begin mid-March.The monthly series, presented by the City of Santa Clarita, will offer a socially distanced night out at the park East Walker Ranch, 16723 Placerita Canyon Road, starting with “The Greatest Showman” starring Hugh Jackman on March 19 and 20.
“It has been a challenge for parents to find new ways of having fun safely during the pandemic,” Kevin Rishko, vice president of retail banking for Logix, said in an email to the Business Journal. “Events such as this provide entertainment for the whole family while maintaining a level of social distancing. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help bring City Cinemas to residents.”Tickets are $30 per vehicle through Eventbrite, with Logix goodie bags included in the price. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to pack dinner or grab takeout from a local restaurant.Logix is headquartered in Burbank but is building a new headquarters in Santa Clarita.
