Mars specializes in logistics and sales for cannabis beverages brands in California. The distribution company has hubs in Costa Mesa, Sacramento and Nevada with three more hubs in development. It claims to deliver orders to retailers in 72 hours or less.
“Mars has the ability to distribute our unique patent-pending cordials, as well as all the products we have identified in our future roadmap, while offering competitive pricing,” Resonate Chief Executive Geoffrey Selzer said in a statement. “Their track record within the industry and core focus on value-added cannabis brands gives us confidence that they can effectively support our growth whether through internal product development or acquisition.”
Resonate’s Koan Cordials are single-dose, fast-acting blends that can be consumed alone or mixed with a beverage. The cordials feature six blends: Calm, Balance, Create, Play, Delight and Wonder. Additional blends are set to be launched this year.
The cordials’ core formulation is emulsified and mixed by Vertosa, a cannabis and hemp infusion technology company, and packaged at the Galley, a Santa Rosa-based co-manufacturing and distribution company.
Koan Cordials will be sold through home delivery options and legal dispensaries regulated by the Bureau of Cannabis Control.
Shares of Calabasas-based Resonate Blends (KOAN) closed Wednesday up more than 1 percent to 45 cents on the over-the-counter market.
