An office building in Sherman Oaks has sold for $8 million, or $280 per square foot.Dubbed the Hamburger Hamlet building, the four-story structure, which spans 29,000 square feet, is located at 4419 Van Nuys Blvd. It was built in 1962 and went through a renovation in 1994.The Hamburger Hamlet restaurant on the premises has been permanently closed since 2018.NAI Capital Commercial Executive Managing Director Michael Schiff represented seller 4419 Van Nuys Building LLC, which Costar identifies as Fresno-based Glikbarg Family Trust. Brian Forster of Pacific Partners Commercial closed the deal on behalf of the buyer, an undisclosed private investor.Nearby comparable sales include 12925 Riverside Drive in Studio City, which in March 2019 sold for $11.6 million, or $298 per square foot; and 10999 Riverside Drive in Studio City, which in May 2019 sold for $7 million, or $343.
