New CEO for Software Firm

Business software provider Cforia Software has announced that Karl Florida will succeed founder Chris Caparon as chief executive officer. Florida recently served as CEO of staffing software firm Avionté, and his arrival is the first executive hire since Cforia received equity funding from Gemspring Capital last year. “Karl is the right leader to scale our company to the next level. I'm thrilled to work closely with him in my new role,” Caparon said in a statement. “His experience within the software space combined with his proven leadership skills will enable growth without compromising Cforia’s commitment to delivering value and optimizing customer success.”Caparon will remain on the company’s board and serve as chief strategy officer. Cforia is located in Westlake Village and provides financial software for business-to-business transactions.
