Developer Seeks Industrial to Office Conversions in Glendale

A developer wants to convert four Tri-Cities industrial buildings into leasable office space, according to an environmental impact report filed with the city of Glendale. Property applicant and Florida resident Jakub Tejchman has proposed to take the four warehouses — located at 6231-6325 San Fernando Road on 4.3 acres of Glendale land – and update and expand the buildings into commercial office space. In all, 21,601 additional square feet will be added to 66,946 square feet of existing office space for a total of 88,547 square feet of commercial office space on the site. In addition to the four buildings, an existing parking zone will be reconfigured to accommodate 263 parking spaces and 23 non-code compliant tandem parking spots. Designed by Rios Clementi Hale Studios, the new versions of the buildings will be completed across a single phase in 14 months once construction is underway. No firm completion date is available on the project. The proposed conversion is awaiting approval from the Glendale’s Design Review Board.
