Sterling Healthcare Logistics in Calabasas has acquired ABS Vaccines, which operates as a contract negotiator between health care providers and drug manufacturers or vendors.Terms of the deal were not disclosed.Sterling makes and sells software called AXCSS to optimize supply chain management for health systems, surgery centers, urgent care operations, long term care facilities and independent physicians.“Sterling is extremely excited with the acquisition of ABS Vaccines,” said Sterling President of Sales and Business Development Jay Monaco in a statement. “Our goal is to help providers and health care organizations spend less time worrying about costs and compliance, and more time dedicating essential care to patients.”ABS Vaccines is Sterling’s second acquisition in as many months. The company in November bought Aggregate365, a medical purchasing group, for an undisclosed amount.
